Why Skylar?

Photography has always been more than just a job for me, it’s a way to hold onto moments that would otherwise slip away. There’s something powerful about being able to freeze time in a single frame. A photo can bring back memories, spark emotions, and transport you to a place you haven't been in years. That connection to memory and feeling is what made me fall in love with this craft.

I got my start photographing Maine’s landscapes, the coastlines, the mountains, the early morning light cutting through the trees. That deep connection with nature is what led me into elopements and weddings. Now, I get to combine everything I love: storytelling, adventure, and meaningful moments in beautiful places. From rocky cliffs to mountaintop views, this work has taken me to places I never imagined—and I’m so grateful for that.

I’m also a big fan of a good hike, crisp sunrises, and calm nights under the stars.

These days, I mostly photograph and film weddings, but elopements are my absolute favorite. They allow for freedom, creativity, and a real sense of intimacy. Weddings: Average at $4,500

My wedding pricing starts at $3,800, and photography also starts at $3,800. Packages investing in both photography and a cinematic film start at $5,000. The average couple investing in just photography or a film spends about $4,500. The average couple investing in a film and photo package spends $8,500.

Elopements: AvErage at $3,500

My elopement pricing starts at $3,000. Elopements strike a different note, however, as this investment offers planning help, location scouting, permit acquisition, and more. The average couple investing in just photography or a film spends about $3,500. The average couple investing in a film and photo package spends $7,500.
